Torfamm Posted January 5 #1 Share Posted January 5 Is anyone aware of what hotel is currently being used in Siem Reap for the 2 night ship excursions to Angkor Wat? A couple of us heading out soon and are struggling with not being able to get the hotel name so we can't apply for Cambodia visas. It’s incredibly frustrating! Bpos Posted January 8 #2 Share Posted January 8 If flying into Siem Reap or Phnom Penh you can get a tourist visa on arrival, easy process and does not take long. Otherwise if you want to ge a visa before you go, look at the good hotels, nominate one on your application, no one is going to check

Cambodia asks you to upload confirmation of your hotel reservation on the evisa website. It's extremely annoying to me that Celebrity, or any tour provider, is unable to answer such a simple question.
dbk72 Posted February 12 #4 Share Posted February 12 Torfamm, I hope you had a nice cruise! I'm interested in your experience with the 2-night excursion to Angkor Wat. We have scheduled a cruise for next March and are considering this excursion. But, we have many questions about the logistics and Celebrity has been little help thus far. For example, how will we be transported from the port to Siem Reap? How did the visa process go? What was the hotel experience like? At what point in the itinerary did you rejoin the ship and how were you transported back to the ship? And in doing this excursion, were you required to miss out on the time touring other port cities like Ho Chi Minh or Bangkok? Your insight and advice is appreciated!
