audraz2 Posted March 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I was just getting my God Daughter a Visa Gift Card and I noticed that you can get a Visa Travel Card instead of Travelers Checks. I was just going to bring my Visa Card. Would that be ok or should I opt to get the Travel Card?
RyanMFitz1 Posted March 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2006 On the carnival cruise website, in the sail and sign portion, they say that they do not accept 3rd party credit cards, travelers funds cards, credit card gift cards and mini credit cards are not accpeted on board. I also called american express and their travelers check card that they offer is not able to be used aboard according to them. I recently made a post asking about debit cards with teh visa/mastercard logo and got alot of great information. They do take those type of cards along with traditional credit cards and travelers checks. Hope this helps.. Ryan Carnival Valor 8-27-
