OSUcruiser Posted June 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2004 Where can you buy these? I have found the waterproof disposiblw without the flash....but no luck with flash. Any suggestions???? Thanks! Glory - June 19, 2004
imsulin Posted June 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2004 Why would you need the flash if it's an underwater camera? You'll most likely be in fairly shallow water during the day. If you're a scuba diver, though, that's a different story.

voyagerfl Posted June 11, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2004 I've had a hard time finding any with a flash. Have not seen any at places like Walmart. The snorkeling pictures I've taken with the non-flash cameras have come out really good. (due tot the bright sun) However if it were cloudy, or you are diving I could certainly see the need for the flash. I believe there was a post awhile back about this and some people posted a web site where you could find them. So maybe they will see this post and help. OSUcruiser Posted June 11, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted June 11, 2004 I was looking for the one with the flash for the cave tubing. We are snorkeling too! I have the regular fuji underwater, but was hoping for aflash one for the darker caves. Glory - June 19, 2004
BigDave Posted June 11, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 11, 2004 Here's one. Note, this one is reloadable. http://store.yahoo.com/photoconnection1/reuncafl3527.html You can replace the 35 mm film, and the AA battery and use it again (actually a good AA will probably last a few times.) I suggest you get some silicone seal lubricant if you don't want it leaking after reloading. Note, a cheap underwater flash camera will work best at under 5 feet, and won't help much past 8 feet. perkins24 Posted June 12, 2004 #11 Share Posted June 12, 2004 BTW...grab some black and white film...(Kodak) it takes beautiful pictures on the beaches (family shots or scenery). Plus...it needs no special and expensive black and white developing. I buy it at Wal-Mart..usually on the bottom shelf. TomD Posted June 14, 2004 #12 Share Posted June 14, 2004 If the water is cloudy, don't use the flash. That would just light up the stuff in the water better than what you're trying to take a picture of. Unless of course you want a picture of cloudy water!
