lwuest Posted February 17 #1 Share Posted February 17 Hi! We participated in a slot pull on our last cruise and it was so much fun! We decided to host one on our upcoming cruise and would appreciate tips from anyone who has hosted before. I did an event on our FB page and have 35 people signed up at $30 per person. I have a list of people and will check them off as I receive their money in the casino. Here are a couple of questions: Suggestions on the best slot to play We will be playing max on each bet, so with 35 people is it best to go for a machine with a high max bet to reduce number of pulls? How do I contact a casino host before the cruise to see if they will give us a couple of inexpensive goodies I appreciate any advice you may have. I'm a little nervous to be a host . I know it's all for fun but some people take these things seriously!😁

AIRBUSDRIVER Posted August 16 #3 Share Posted August 16 Talk to the casino host first day of the cruise when casino opens to arrange gifts and a time. They always come through as they want people to have fun in the casino and come back to play. Make sure you use someone's player card (or cabin key) in the machine as you will accumulate quite a few points. BIG HINT! Use a Canadian player's card as if you do win big, no tax will be withheld. US players will have 30% held back for taxes. 3 pulls per player is usually good so with $30 per person I would bet $10 per spin. Make sure you are playing a game with Bonus's (ie: free spins, jackpot spins etc.) We usually keep track of the totals of each players spins and the top 2 or 3 win a prize. Usually bottle of wine, champagne or swag (from the casino). Make a decision before you start playing where you will cut off the spins. IE: how much money gets split up. After everyone spins and you have $50 left on the machine or you have $5000, what is the plan?? We usually go with a double. Looks like you will put in $1050 for 35 players. If you end up with $2100 or better, pay out 35 x $60. everyone has doubled their money, anything less we keep playing till its gone or we double... Get some help from your friends. It can get a little crazy keeping track of 35 gambling, drinking cruisers on day 2... LOL !!! Have fun!!!
