MJ702 Posted May 4 #1 Share Posted May 4 We’re a family of 9 flying into Long Beach for our cruise. We’ve always had the worst luck with Uber/Lyft if we all travel. The problem is most vehicles won’t accommodate much luggage. Although we can fit into 2 Uber XL’s our luggage won’t. We’ll have a check in each and probably a couple carry ons. As we all know most vehicles run smaller. So with that in mind we’ll probably have to get 3. I’ve shopped around and Skyline Express Shuttle sounds too good to be true. They’re by far the least expensive and have the best rating. So I was wondering if anyone has used their service.
KeepCalmBearOn Posted May 5 #2 Share Posted May 5 I've never heard of them, but they get good reviews from legit posters, so I'd book them for myself based on those reviews. https://www.yelp.com/biz/skyline-shuttle-express-long-beach
Eg9tobe83 Posted May 27 #3 Share Posted May 27 I just looked at this shuttle company and I love the reviews. We are a party of 5, 4 adults, and 1 toddler, flying into Long Beach for a Royal Caribbean cruise at the end of June. I know Prime Time Shuttle has less than stellar reviews, any experience with them?

PrimeTime reviews are not "less than stellar" they are abysmal. I haven't any experiences in over 20 years with them, because when I did, they were abysmal. I've had a lot of friends and family use Mickey's Space Ship Shuttle, but I don't know if they do airport to port, or if they are strictly port/airport to Disney. They do offer free child seats, which your toddler will need. Xpress Shuttles has child seats as well. Be sure to mention you need one when booking. Eg9tobe83 Posted May 27 #5 Share Posted May 27 Thanks for the reply and the comment, @KeepCalmBearOn! First cruise since the 90’s, when I was a middle schooler. I was looking for the most economical way to get from LGB to the port area the night before. I’ll spring for the extra $20 bucks, and use Skyline Express, or use Lyft when we arrive on a Sunday night.
MJ702 Posted May 29 Author #6 Share Posted May 29 We took a chance and booked this company so fingers crossed and we’ll see. Reviews on yelp, google and trip advisor are all great. Good luck with your plans Eg9tobe83! I’d say I’d let you know how it goes but we’re sailing the end of June as well.
Eg9tobe83 Posted May 29 #7 Share Posted May 29 @MJ702, the June 24th Navigator of the Seas? I cancelled our Prime Time Shuttle, though Skyline Express is looking promising for our group of 5. We are also considering bringing our own FAA approved carseat for the toddler (she's 19 months and a lap child), but thinking it would make things easier if there's an extra seat on the plane, and through our transfers before and after the cruise.
