presguy Posted March 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2006 As part of an "incentive" to book with our TA, she told us we would receive a $250 NCL coupon book. Can anyone please tell me what coupons are in the book, and whether there was any problem when trying to use them? Thanks!
mburnell Posted March 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2006 The book we received was nothing special. Buy 2 drinks on embarkation day and get one free, a couple $5 match coupons in the casino, a free entry to a slot tournament, some discounts in the gift shop, and some photo shop discounts, buy a dinner get one free, etc. If you don't go to the casino it is almost worthless. Planer's Edge Posted March 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2006 It all depends on if you are a newbie or a veteran cruiser. I say this because veteran cruiser tend to not buy many photgraphs. Newbies want to buy these wonderful memories and the photo coupons are pretty good. The buy one get on free at a specialty restaurant is a $10 or $15 saving. The casino coupons for me are useless since I don't gamble. So, it all depends on if there are things in the coupon book that generate savings for you. cruiser01 Posted March 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2006 the coupon book is ok. At the minimum you should use: 2 for 1 specialty restaurant (only valid 1st night). Cagney's costs $20/person so this is your best value But 2 drinks get 1 free (valid first day only) - value $5-10 depending on your drinks 2 for 1 entry into Casino tournament....lots of fun...$10-15 value.
