DaveA Posted May 20 #1 Share Posted May 20 Our flight home after our upcoming first Regent cruise doesn't leave until late afternoon. Our transfer and flights are provided by Regent. I'm sure they will want everyone off the ship fairly early, so are they likely to just take us straight to the airport and leave us there for several hours? Or take us on a tour with lunch maybe? swansong Posted May 20 #2 Share Posted May 20 It varies. Sometimes there is an included tour that ends up at the airport but usually for flights after 16.00. I have never had one that includes lunch. It really depends on which port you are at and your flight time. Details will be available when you receive your disembarkation details three or four days before the cruise ends.

DaveA Posted July 28 Author #4 Share Posted July 28 swansong was spot on. Tours ending at the airport (Reykjavik/Keflavik in our case) were offered for those with flights after 4pm. The tours were rather unexciting, but much better than an extra couple of hours at the airport. People with evening flights were offered a longer tour with a lunch stop. colleenmf Posted July 30 #5 Share Posted July 30 When we disembarked in Buenos Aires we had a 9 pm flight and were given a day room at an extremely nice hotel. We walked to a restaurant for lunch and then our shuttle to the airport left around 5 or 6pm. I don't know what the cutoff time is to get a day room versus a tour and a late drop off at the airport. I would think flights after say 6 or 7 pm might get a day room.
