Questions: Teen's Sign & Sail and Specialty coffees

I have a 14 year old son who will be going on the Holiday with us next May. Will his S&S card have to be secured with an account or will his card be for ID only? Also, I saw something about gourmet and specialty coffee shops. Are these on the Holiday? If so, what are the prices? I may have to budget more for these than for anything else! Thanks for any info. This will be our second cruise but our first on Carnival.

Your sons card will be secured with your credit card. If you do not want him tohave spending privileges head to the pursers desk and tell them to turn the card off.

 

DOnt know how much special coffee is but the regular stuff is free.

At the specialty coffee and sweets counter the coffee goes on your sign and sail. Seems that it was about $2 to $3 for a large cup of good coffee. And the chocolate cake was delicious.

If you don't want him to charge you can state this up front when checking in - then you won't have to go to the pursers office.
