tom_uk Posted March 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2006 I'm going on a 'Best of the Med' cruise on Galaxy in June. I've just received my in-depth Excursions brochure, and I'v noticed that some of them start very early - 7:30 for one excursion I was thinking of doing. So the question is: given that in order to be on an excursion at 7:30 I'm going to be wanting breakfast not long after 6:30, what provision is there on Galaxy for early eaters? I remember from a previous cruise with another line that while the seated breakfast in the restaurant didn't start until 8 o'clock or even later, the buffet breakfast was generally available earlier in the cafe. Is it the same on Galaxy? And - how good is it?
kwhite7 Posted March 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2006 We had this same problem when we were on the Galaxy not to long ago. But there is a simple solution....room service. There are cards in your stateroom that you hang on the door the night before and you can have breakfast in your room. You can choose what time you want it delivered and all you have to pay extra is a tip for the delivery person (although not required, just appreciated).
