ItalianAnt Posted June 23 #1 Share Posted June 23 I am trying to decide between these two kayak trips and having a difficult time understanding the main differences since I'm not familiar with the area at all. Can anyone provide some insight to help make a choice? We are in our late 30's, not new to kayaking and we like a little bit of adventure too. Southeast Explorers Eagle Island, 3.5hrs: https://www.southeastexposure.com/eagle-islands-sea-kayaking.html Ketchikan Kayak Company Eco-Tour, 4hrs: https://ketchikankayakco.com/tours/kayak-eco-tour/
rdhed Posted July 8 #2 Share Posted July 8 Just did the eco tour with Ketchikan kayak, it was great, there was a mix of experienced and non-experienced kayakers on the trip. I don't know if I would call it super adventurous as we were always close to land but we saw eagles and other marine life. Would definitely recommend them if the times work for you. The eco-tour with Ketchikan Kayaks follows the same route and the southeastern tour, just from a different launch point(Ketchikan kayak launched from the clover pass resort) based on the map southeastern provided.
