Going on the Pride for Thanksgiving. Sharing the room with our daughters. There are no suites available. We can get a 9A, will it give us much more room. Is there much noise from the elevators? Any information would be appreciated. We need to place deposit today.

Thanks:)

Sigh! The 9A's on the Spirit class ships do not have wrap around balconies. That is on the Destiny and Conquest class ship. The Valor is a Conquest class ship.

But, to answer the poster's question, we heard absolutely nothing from the elevator when we were in this room. It looks like, on the floor plan, that the elevator is in the room, but it is really more separated than that. We didn't hear the elevator or people milling about. That was one of our concerns when booking this room also!

It is a nice room, nearly as big as a cat 11, except for the bathroom. The bathroom does not have a tub (just a shower) so it is smaller than a suite's bathroom.

Hope that helps!

Denise
