Internet Packages

We're sailing later this year on a cruise with a lot of sea days. How is the internet? Is it fairly reliable? Does anyone know of any available discounts as the price for the full Internet package is quite high?

I believe that all Costa ships now have Starlink, when I was on Toscana and Esmeralda I was achieving speeds of around 80mps which was excellent.

The Internet I believe is 10% cheaper booked in advance rather than onboard, although there is no escaping their ludicrous €3 activation fee.

If you are doing a Europe cruise you will be in port most days so could use local data networks and turn Internet off after sailing.
