Little Italy San Pedro

Recommended Posts

This one is for SoCal residents and those familiar with San Pedro area. We understand that there is a "Little Italy" area in San Pedro. As DW and I love Italian food, what are some of your favorite Italian restaurants in this "Little Italy" area. TIA.

They are trying to create a "Little Italy San Pedro", but there really is not a defined area like it is in San Diego, NYC or LA used to have (Little Italy DTLA is called "Chinatown" now).

That said, there are great Italian delis and restaurants in San Pedro, and used to be great Greek and Portuguese too, but those have faded.

We like Raffaello Ristorante, J Trani's Ristorante, La Bocca Felice and La Sicilianna.

For delis we like Busy Bee, A-1 Grocers and Pirozzi's Italian Deli. Busy Bee is the Bay Cities Deli of San Pedro.

You also cannot miss Marabella Vineyard Company for their wines, vinegar and when they press grapes (coming up soon) the old fashioned way.
