cmonaco27 Posted July 3 #1 Share Posted July 3 Any recommendations on hotels near the LA cruise terminal? Ideally, one that provides airport transfer AND cruise terminal transfers. We are hoping to avoid Uber, etc. as we will be travelling with young children and want to avoid lugging car seats around if at all possible. Sorry, but not aware of any hotels that will do both airport and cruise shuttles. If you want a free airport shuttle, you'd have to stay near airport and go back to airport the day of cruise to take a Princess shuttle to the port. Or you could book a shuttle service to the port that makes stops at multiple hotels along the way. If you want to stay near the port, you'd probably have to take an Uber to one of the hotels near the port that provide free shuttles to the terminal. In April, we took an Uber from airport to Doubletree San Pedro (for 2 nights) and took their free shuttle right to the terminal on cruise day. They have a system that's organized and works well. In your case, because of the car seat thing, I WOULD stay at an LAX hotel with a shuttle and then go back to LAX the next day for the Princess shuttle. There would be no need for car seats on a hotel shuttle or Princess shuttle.
