mermaid 285 Posted July 19 #1 Share Posted July 19 Hi, I would love to hear from you if you have stayed on this deck near the restaurant. Also how did you find being at the bottom of the ship and near the tenders? To be honest I would have preferred being on the deck above, but there was no availability. We are looking at joining the Grenadines sailing on 15th February.
reefsharkmark Posted July 22 #2 Share Posted July 22 (edited) We were in Cabin 114, last year, and it was fine. Just down the hall from the restaurant, and the place the tenders pick up is actually next to the restaurant, so shouldn't hear too much from those. It is actually pretty quiet on that deck. You will have a great time on that trip. Edited July 22 by reefsharkmark
mermaid 285 Posted July 24 Author #3 Share Posted July 24 Thank you that's reassuring to know. Where is the 'engine room' on this ship located? Which cruise were you on if you don't mind me asking?
reefsharkmark Posted July 24 #4 Share Posted July 24 The engine room is aft of the restaurant and a deck below. We were on the Grenadine itinerary, I suspect they may change it up a little after the hurricane earlier this month.
mermaid 285 Posted July 24 Author #5 Share Posted July 24 I was wondering too whether Star Clippers will change the itinerary!? We've been to St Lucia and the Grenadines before, years ago, and thought it sounded a really lovely itinerary. Let's hope they are a bit more communicative over this than they usually are, based on what I've heard.
