Premier1vaCruiser Posted August 27 #1 Share Posted August 27 I’m thinking of booking a TA in November. Has anyone done a TA with EJ? Was it full? Activities durning the day and night. What was it like. Looking for laid back but I like to socialize and meet fellow travelers. Please advise.
Poppy45 Posted August 28 #2 Share Posted August 28 I was on the transatlantic at the end of May from Miami to Lanzarote. We had a wonderful time, but admittedly we were blessed with fantastic weather and a very smooth crossing. We were therefore able to spend a lot of time on deck so didn’t feel the need for daytime entertainment. There were 310 passengers on board and we met some lovely fellow passengers There was an increase in guest entertainers, as opposed to our previous sailing, but this may not be the same on the return voyage as I believe they were introducing 4 more crew singers. Hope this helps!!
jetsetjane Posted August 28 #3 Share Posted August 28 Did it feel like there was enough to do onboard on the crossing? Lectures… pub trivia etc.? I have never done a transatlantic crossing on a cruise line so just trying to gauge what options are onboard. 🙂. Thank you!

I am considering a transatlantic EJ and would appreciate any information on how the dining options worked with many days at sea. Were there any differences in terms of timing, crowdedness at some of the venues or difficulty getting reservations? The ships look lovely though I believe the cruise I’m looking at is April so I’m concerned the outdoors dining and pools, seating might be too cool or windy. Thank you kindly for your input
