Second day of the Wonders of Cairo and Alexandria tour, and we are back on the ship. I was surprised how physical this tour was, especially on the second day. The first day had an evening walk through a Cairo market to dinner and six out of 32. People in the group declined to go. On the second day, we did a lot of stairs up and down in a catacomb (pictures later), and even getting to our restaurant for lunch required climbing multiple flights of stairs. For now, here are various street pictures from Cairo and Alexandria, some taken out the bus window.

 

 

 

 

 

The yellow and black car is a Russian Lada from the mid 1980s! Very common taxi in Alexandria.

 

 

 

One man is towing all these bananas!  You can see his feet underneath.
