gzmtlock Posted October 11 #1 Share Posted October 11 Hi! We are unexpectedly in Victoria for a longer time tomorrow, due to canceling of Ketchikan and trying to beat a storm down the coast. (So far, that's working!) Port time in Victoria has been extended and will start at 1 pm. We want to wander around on our own, be back on the ship by about 6 pm. Would love any suggestions! cruiseryyc Posted October 12 #2 Share Posted October 12 Since you haven't landed in Victoria yet, still time to give some advice. Wandering around the Inner Harbour is a perfect way to spend the afternoon. You can easily walk from the port at Ogden Point; stopping along the way at Fisherman's Wharf and if you didn't have lunch onboard, have some fish & chips at Barb's fish and chip shop. You can hop onto one of the harbour ferries for a view of Victoria from the water. Check out the Q Lounge in the Empress Hotel, enjoy a gin & tonic made with their own gin. Or if you're a beer drinker, lots of pubs around. https://gvha.ca/marinas-facilities/fishermans-wharf/ https://victoriaharbourferry.com/ https://www.qattheempress.com/?utm_source=google+Maps&utm_medium=seo+maps&utm_campaign=seo+maps https://www.breweriesnearby.com/city/victoria-bc Enjoy Victoria!
