OliverTheCat Posted March 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2006 My husband and I want to do a quickie getaway on SOS for October 13th sailing. We live just an hour away from Port Canaveral. What I want to know is if a hurricane is in the area of Port Canaveral and the cruise cant leave and RCI makes the decision to just cancel the cruise since it cant leave, what happens? Do they refund you total money? Do they give you a credit? We arent gonna have cruise insurance for this cruise, so I am just curious what happens when THEY CANCEL the cruise. Obviously they have to refund your money somehow. I did call RCI on this, and the customer service agent was less than friendly or knowledgable. I never have any luck with them. AFT_LOVER Posted March 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2006 they refund the money, but I don't think your air. Hurricanes are fun, we rode on on Grand Princess that hit the Gulf after we finished Grand Caymen & the ride back to FLA was EXCITING!!!!!! Lyncruiser Posted March 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2006 Hurricanes are anything but fun. Ask anyone in New Orleans or the Gulf.
