St. Maarten

Going to be in St. Maarten next week aboard the Glory. I've seen pictures of airliners flying in just above the beach. Anyone ever checked this out. I'd like to get some video of this. Any idea when the 747's come in?

I have no idea when they come in, but man, is it cool! We did a catamaran with some snorkeling when we were there. They flew directly overhead.

The other cool part is when they take-off. You would think they would fly out towards the ocean, but they don't. Right towards the mountains and then bank hard left to miss them.

I didn't get any video of this, but I do recall getting some photos on the underwater camera, which I just remembered has yet to be developed from over a year and a half ago!
