Ecstasy-Galveston-Thanksgiving

I would love some feedback from any Carnival veterans who have experience with Ecstasy. We will be new to Carnival, having only traveled on Disney and Celebrity (and America Hawaii years ago.) Particularly, I would like to know what to expect from the decor, dining, and overall condition of this older ship. The idea of a four night Thanksgiving cruise from Galveston is appealing because we love cruising and we can drive rather than fight through the airports over the holidays.

I've been on the Ecstasy out of Long Beach twice and will be sailing on her again next week. While not near as glamorous as the Pride, the Ecstasy is wonderful. Before you sail on her, it will be refurbished so I'm sure it will be great. After my cruise, I will be posting a review and pictures.
