Ecstacy Question

Will be taking some first time cruisers on a 4 day cruise out of Galveston on the Ecstacy this July. We've booked several inside cabins and I have never stayed in this category before. They want to know if the cabins have hair dryers and irons. Also, does anyone know if there is a formal night on a 4 day cruise?

The Ecstacy is currently getting refurbished in dry dock, every room is being re-done, if they follow Carnival standard, every room will have a dryer, they are not that powereful, and if someone has some wicked thick, long hair, they will need to bring their own.

 

IRONS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON BOARD - fire hazard - there are irons provided in laundry rooms.

 

Every Carnival cruise has at least one formal night, 6 day and longer cruises have 2 formal nights.

 

The first group sailing the Ecstacy goes out April 8th, check back for reviews on what EXACTLY they have done to all staterooms - but it is supposed to be a hefty refurb!

Formal night is usually the second night on a 4 day. Your capers will tell you for sure. Enjoy your cruise!:)
