Is it possible to: walk around downtown and grab lunch, visit straw market, relax somewhere on cable beach and swim all in that time frame?

Also, Is it possible to go to the beach and use a hotel's facilities without a day pass? I wouldnt mind just using their restaurant a la carte and restrooms of course.

Is cable beach far removed from any authentic Bahamian restaurants?

Thanks!

I think I would do that in reverse, Head to Cable Beach for a few hours, grab the jitney back towards town and get dropped off at Arawak Cays' Fish Fry for authentic Lunch, then continue back to downtown Nassau (either continue on the Jitney, or walk the esplanade).. (don't forget you are in the bahamas, and service is very slow.

Once your back in town, you'll be nearby the dock,, and you can shop, check out the straw market, grab a bahama mama etc.. all within a quick walk back to the dock.

  • 2 months later...

Just back from NCL Spirit in Nassau and took advice from fellow cc and took #10 to Wyndham and had a nice afternoon at the pool/ Beach. We bought a few drinks from hotel bar, and before we left stopped at chocalate shop in hotel lobby for some treats. It was the perfect day for a short day in Nassau. Noone at Hotel said a word to us. Just look like you belong there! Thanks again!
