bottled water?

I'm new to the message boards - and to cruising. I see comments about bringing liquor on board, but can you bring on a case of bottled water? Is that allowed?

Definitely! We're planning on doing just that. You can tape a luggage tag to the case and they'll deliver it with your luggage. We're taking a collapsible cooler along to keep the water and soda cold during our cruise since the Imagination doesn't have a refrigerator.

Yes, we were on the Valor in November. They're just little dorm room type refrigerators, they don't keep things very cold though. Like I wouldn't keep milk in there (we like milk VERY cold), but soda is okay.

If you don't want to haul all that water on board, the water on the ship is perfectly fine, another good idea would be to bring sports bottles and fill them on the ship before you go in to ports.

yes we did, very much. Its a beautiful ship! Service was excellent, everyone was so friendly. I think our room steward was still kind of new, but she did great. And we LOVED the ports, we did the western Carib. Our favorite was Roatan, we did the Coral Cay beach break through Carnival, it was a gorgeous beach. Cayman was fun, we introduced our friend to the stingrays, she was nervous at first but loved it in the end. In Belize we did the Altun Ha & River Wallace tour, that was neat too. In Costa Maya we did another Beach Break through an independant and had a great day.

Did you special package your water with your luggage tags? Did your water not get broken? I usually just carry it with me in my carry on, but it sure does get heavy!!!!! Thanks
