Great place for lunch in town!

My husband and I stopped in Aruba a few months ago with Celebrity's Constellation. We decided not to book an excursion and walked around town all day. We were terribly sunburned and the beach would have been torture. The shopping was pretty good. We found a great place for lunch! It is called CocoPlum. It is on Main Street right across from Burger King. They have shaded outdoor seating, the prices were great, and the food was fantastic. Ask for specials that aren't on the menu. We each had 2 Balashi Beers, an appetizer, and an entree and it was less than $40!:)

It was local food. We asked what their specials were that weren't on the menu. My husband had curry chicken and vegetables and I had a seafood medley in cream sauce served with curry vegetables. We also had a couple of appetizers that I can't remember the names of. I think that one was a fried fish cake and it was really good. I didn't see any other tourists there just locals on their lunch breaks. They take US$, but no credit cards. It was delicious!!:)

Thank you for the tip.When we were in Aruba last we did a tour of the island, then stipped in town to shop at one store. This time we thought it would be fun to spend the day browsing and we will try the CocoPlum.

The store we went to was Agathas, its a little clothing store but she sells her own brand of perfume. It was recommended to me by the CC and it was wonderful I will absolutely go back to buy more
