bonni99 Posted April 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2006 Does anyone have any idea when Cunard are planning on taking the QM2 into dock to try and fix the pod that was damaged earlier this year? Does anyone think this may havea bearing on cruises or crossings planned for later this year?
Goldryder Posted April 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2006 She is in for the removal of the pod in May. Where the pod is removed she will be plated up. Her itineraries have been altered accordingly including an added Fjord cruise. She then goes back for the repaired pod to be refitted in November. Norfolk Brit Posted April 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2006 Does anyone have any idea when Cunard are planning on taking the QM2 into dock to try and fix the pod that was damaged earlier this year? Does anyone think this may havea bearing on cruises or crossings planned for later this year? We're booked on the Med cruise in September, and have had notification of minor changes from Cunard (leaving a couple of ports 2 or 3 hours earlier than originally scheduled). No ports are being omitted. Hope this helps. Regards, Mary
