stitch78 Posted April 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2006 We choose an inside guarantee and from what I understand sometimes you end up with a better room. How often does something like this happen? We understand an inside is probably not the ideal choice but we figured we won't be in there long and will make sure to bring a clock and a nightlight. serene56 Posted April 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2006 By reading these boards you would think that upgrades are always happening. People get upgrades but its mostly to a higher deck within the same category. When did you book and when are you sailing? You are right when you state you wont be in your cabin all that much. Sleep and dress thats about all.
JKJoannie Posted April 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2006 We have gotten upgraded a couple of times. Both times we were disappointed with where we were on the ship. Noise, long walks, etc. We just booked an inside cabin and asked not to be upgraded. We booked for December and picked our cabin after much deliberation over the deck plans. We are never in the cabin except to change clothes and sleep.
