spearmint Posted April 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2006 I have read of on/off busses into some (all?) of the cities for the Baltic cruise. Some posters indicate that they are free. Others have indicated busses which charge $25 pp. Are they referring to the same transportation? Are the busses provided by Celebrity or by a company or city? In which cities are they available? Any information would be helpful.
MSBYRDY Posted April 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Some of the ports are a bit of a distance from the heart of town, and Celebrity will run free buses into the towns. Once in the towns you can take the on/off buses that are run by that city and there is a charge to do that. I don't believe any were $25 pp however. Hope this clears it up a bit. Dick in Falls Church Posted April 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2006 As I recall from our trip last summer, the hop-on/hop-off buses were about $25 for a day, or $30 for two days. They were available in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, and Helsinki. At least some of them seem to be related--if you had a ticket from Stockholm, you got a discount in Helsinki.
