Rare cruzin4us Posted April 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2006 We are sailing to South America on Infinity over the Christmas Holiday. Are we going to run into problems with everything being closed around the holidays? Never much thought about it until recently. I'd sure hate to miss seeing the penguins because there are no excursions  I guess just cruising around the horn should be Christmas enough.......any thoughts? Hey cruzin4us, The only thought I have after doing several Christmas cruises is...and don't let anyone talk you out of this...only book tours through the cruise line. We have been in more than one port on Christmas day and before (Christmas Eve) and the day after in the BVI's, they have "Boxing Day". I could be wrong but...I don't think so. ;) Look at "X's" shore excursions on your cruise and book them today.... Merry Christmas. We will be on the Zenith for Christmas.:) Hope this helps. Rare cruzin4us Posted April 10, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 10, 2006 oh boy, I was afraid of that Jeff. I really like doing private tours, but I'm thinking you are probably right about booking the ship's excursions.........dang. Any idea about Christmas Eve? Ahhhhhhhh...... I might just stay aboard the ship and drink hot toddies (sp?).
