JGR01 Posted April 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2006 Was on a QM2 Crossing August 2005. Onboard Future Cruise Sales was offering a 'pre-notice' deal for the Queen Victoria. They told us that for putting a $300/pax deposit .. we would be notified a month ahead of Travel Agents for the 2008 sailing schedule for the QV .. so could book early. WELLLLL .. I never looked at the credit card statement (4 pax deposted) .. and they never charged my card. Now, in calling Cunard I find out that the 'promotion' was pre-notice on the first two inagural cruises ONLY. I was never planning to take those .. was looking for summer 2008. Onboard sales gave me bad information. Onboard sales (or someone) never followed thru with the booking/deposit. NOW I have to wait until 'summer' 2006 to find out about where the QV will be sailing in 2008 and I have no priority and no deposit in place. Yes my fault for not following up last fall when the charge never hit my statement but I was busy selling a house and dealing with some health issues. Anyone else had a bad experience with Onboard Future Cruise Sales? I am very surprised they did not properly follow thru.
