wrp96 Posted April 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2006 No US cruise lines are allowed to, maybe some of the smaller, non-US lines might.
bouy Posted April 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2006 I have heard that you can cruise to Cuba if you go to Canada first and cruise from there .That is one cruise I want to look into it looks so beautiful. but I have also heard that you shouldn't let them stamp your passport because you can get fined a lot of money since it's against the law for us to go there. Middleager Posted May 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2006 I don't know of any Cuban ports ready to handle a cruise ship. It may come later. Cuba is one of the cheapest to go for all inclusive vacations. Many Americans come to Canada, to fly to Cuba. There are many tour operators selling packages, flying from every major Canadian cities, to every Cuban resort cities. For US$1000 you can go for a very nice 1-wk holiday (includes airfare, ground transfers, accommodation & resort amneties, food, drink, entertainment, etc.) There are also lots of last minute sales. So that's another way to consider going to Cuba. This is until Castro goes, things change, and Cuba may be swamped with American tourists.
