Montego Bay, too late??

Recommended Posts

I posted a similar question but being new to the site and boards, I posted in the wrong place. Our dream is a Jamaican beach wedding. The cruise is booked, dress is in my closet, but NO WEDDING PLANS! Is it too late to try to plan a VERY simple beach wedding? Just me and DH2B. Should I try or plan on getting married before we leave home? Can we do a "mock" beach wedding once we are in Montego Bay? Help, we leave Galveston May 21! We don't have the time for a Galveston wedding as they have a 3 day waiting period.

Maybe not. I would contact the cruise line immediately and find out if they can do it. Next I would scour the internet for local companies that will do weddings. Unfortunately you will probably have to find out what the policy is if your ship cannot make port for any reason. Some companies (different locations) will let you return sometime in the next year to try again.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
