graymadeb Posted April 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2006 There will be eight (8) of us women sailing on the Oct 14 Norwegian Dream out of Houston. For most of them - it will be a first cruise - or at least a first in a LONG time! We would all like to sit together at our meals. Can you imagine the FUN with 8 women together? No kids! and no husbands! Are there tables that would hold eight? And if we chose to sit at the same table each night is it possible to reserve that same table at the same time each night? We prefer to have the same waiters and table....not interested in freestyle with that large of a group.
electricron Posted April 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2006 Surf to this NCL web page: http://www.ncl.com/fleet/07/deckplans.htm# Click on Deck 9 and scroll down to see the restaurants. This deck plan shows the table arrangments and chairs. There's plenty of tables for 8.
Carolyn1950 Posted April 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2006 We had 8 in our group at times last year and never had a problem.. Try not to eat at peak times.. We ate after 8 each night..
KeystoneCruiser Posted April 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2006 We tried something like that last summer on the Star with our group. You can usually get the same table with that large of a group if you dine at the off peak times. They would only take reservations in the main dining rooms for large groups at 5:30, 6:00, 8:30 or 9:00. You may not get the same waiter because the wait staff switches areas. We had to go from one main restaurant to another for our last night because our favorite waiter was scheduled for the other restaurant that night.
