galaxy Sky Suite verandas??

We are on the Galaxy Med Oct 6th cruise. First time cruisers and since we are two sisters and mom (mom is 80!)we are sharing a Sky Suite. I am confused about the size of the verandah's. Some are big(179sq feet) some are small (69) and some suies are not listed at all. Any idea if the Sky deck is better than penthouse deck? and will we be able to sit outside in early October or is it too cold in Med??

Thanks all!

The Sky Suites on the Sky Deck have the larger 179 sq feet (avg) balconies. If you look at the deck plan it is pretty easy to distinguish the shape and thus small differences in size of each balcony.

We took the same cruise as you are going to take. We departed last year October 7, 2005. We could be outside on the veranda except for one evening when it rained. The weather was great. Obviously, a few days out you'll know what the weather will be like.

You are smart getting a sky suite for three people. My wife and I took her mother on this trip. (She always wanted to go to Europe.) The sky suite's extra size room was appreciated. A regular cabin with a veranda, would have been too small by the end of the cruise.

Enjoy your cruise. Be sure to take advantage of other threads or create one regarding recommendations for excursions.
