daveky Posted April 25, 2006 #26 Share Posted April 25, 2006 The documents for our upcoming 13 night transatlantic on Voyager lists *3* formal nights, *4* smart casual, and the remainder casual. I can't possibly pack that many dressy outfits so I'm renting a tux and going with the "khakis and dress shirt, possibly a tie" look on smart casual. I've never done a transatlantic, but certainly on my other cruises the dress has definitely been sliding more towards "resort casual" and away from ties and sportcoats. Have fun on your cruise. Have a friend here locally is doing that cruise. She got a great price and it's her first transatlantic/european cruise and very excited. Voyager was her first ship and glad to be back on her. I've sailed Navigator, but not Voyager. The longest cruise I've taken is 7 days, so I'm looking forward to the extra time-to-unwind. Now I just have to figure out what to pack for those 5 sea days!
