CruiseFever Posted April 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Is Princess offering transfers from EWR to the redhook pier for crown cruises in July? Yes. I just did this. It's $80 pp round trip from JFK, LGA or EWR. If you're not doing their air they'll need your flight information. Your flight can arrive no later than 2:30pm at LGA and 1:30pm for JFK and EWR. Going back your flight can't leave before 12:15 for LGA and 1:15 for JFK and EWR.
pattycakes Posted April 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2006 $80 roundtrip is an excellent deal from Newark -- it is notoriously expensive to get from Newark into Brooklyn -- with interstate fees and tolls. About average from JFK and LGA, depending on traffic, but worth knowing its a set fee.
marlinmike Posted April 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Yes, but that's $80.00/person. Isn't it about $80 for a town car? Does anyone know of any reliable car services in the area?

A cab from LGA should be about 30 and Kennedy around $50.00(the shorter way) and that is per cab not per person.

That's a good point.. Might be able to call up one of the town car companies and get the two of us a ride for circa $80 each way.. At least I know Princess is an option as a last resort. Thanks so much!
bstrauss3 Posted April 20, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2006 There are a bunch of car services in the NY area - just check the online yellow pages for 'car service'. Most people remember the phone #s not the names - they all try for easy to dial ones... Let see... SuperShuttle (shared-ride van service): Doesn't service Brooklyn. TelAviv - 1-212-777-7777 - http://www.telavivlimo.com/about.html Carmel - 1-212-666-6666 - http://www.carmellimo.com/ Or google for "car service new york" and click any of the sponsored links... -----Burton
