Samisgirl Posted April 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Hi everyone, I have found a cake that is so pretty I would love to have it at my reception the bakery delivers and isn't too far from the port has any one else done this or know if it would be allowed? Thanks
Amanda&Jake Posted April 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I'm pretty sure that you are not allowed to bring any type of food onto the ship. :(
micheleg Posted April 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Sorry...you can't use any of your own vendors. If you find a cake you like, get a picture of it and email it to your coordinator. They will make every attempt to have the ship's pastry chef mimic it. They do of course have some limitations because they do not specialize in wedding cakes. If they can't do it, they'll tell you. If they can come close, they'll tell you that as well and what they can't do. Be prepared to pay for a custom cake. My cake is going to be $9 per person, and won't be exact to the picture I loved, but if they get it close...I'll be happy! :) Hope this info helps and congrats!
