mana1 Posted April 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Hi, Do women typically wear ankle length dresses on formal nights or can it be shorter. Also, do all colors work or do most women wear black? Thanks so much.
pisces1 Posted April 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2006 You do not have to worry about wearing floor length or ankle length gowns (although highly acceptable). Black is always appropriate, but many colors of the rainbow can be seen in the dining rooms. What you will find most interesting is seeing the individual passenger's perception of what formal is. Let's just say tunics and pants can make many appearances.
caribbean dreams Posted April 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2006 It's about 50/50, shorter cocktail dresses and full length gowns.
mana1 Posted April 23, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted April 23, 2006 Thank you so much. That helps a lot. I thought I needed to get a floor length gown and I've been having a hard time finding one. It's much easier to find shorter dresses.
