Car Rental in Oralndo

A few years ago I booked a cruise sailing out of Port Canaveral. We usually will visit Disney for a few days before the cruise. The last time we did this we rented a car at the airport and returned it at a location near the ship. Is this option still available? I believe it was Avis that had a drop off location near the port.

Budget still has a rental office near the Radisson, which is just a few miles from the port. There are a couple of gas stations very close by. They have a free shuttle van to the pier. We have had good experiences with them.

You can do this with Thrifty also. You will need to call them, rather then use the on-line system.

If you have access to an "Entertainment" coupon book, there are some really good coupons in the book for Budget. That's who I used the first week of April and was very happy with the service overall.

We did this with Budget last year and it worked out beautifully. They drove us to the port and a week later, when we disembarked, there was a Budget shuttle there to pick us up.
