billylen Posted April 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2006 A few years ago I booked a cruise sailing out of Port Canaveral. We usually will visit Disney for a few days before the cruise. The last time we did this we rented a car at the airport and returned it at a location near the ship. Is this option still available? I believe it was Avis that had a drop off location near the port. Thanks in advance for your help
PVDCruiser Posted April 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2006 I think you can do this with Budget, too. Cheers,
nanner10 Posted April 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2006 Budget still has a rental office near the Radisson, which is just a few miles from the port. There are a couple of gas stations very close by. They have a free shuttle van to the pier. We have had good experiences with them.
billylen Posted April 23, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted April 23, 2006 The Radisson, that rings a bell...Budget. I will check it out. Thanks all
VA CDC Posted April 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2006 You can do this with Thrifty also. You will need to call them, rather then use the on-line system.
wraithe Posted April 23, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2006 The Radisson, that rings a bell...Budget. I will check it out. Thanks all If you have access to an "Entertainment" coupon book, there are some really good coupons in the book for Budget. That's who I used the first week of April and was very happy with the service overall.
HappyDancer Posted April 24, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 24, 2006 We did this with Budget last year and it worked out beautifully. They drove us to the port and a week later, when we disembarked, there was a Budget shuttle there to pick us up.
