we are going on the Pride in Jan.booked ocean view room but I was told abstructed balcony is better can anyone let me know.

IMO an obstructed balcony is still better than an ocean view. There's nothing like feeling the sea-wind on your face and relaxing in the deck chairs sipping a cocktail! :p

Yes, the Cat. 5a, 6a, are great because you can open the french doors, but the View in a regular OV cabin is much better. After staying in alot of 6a with the lifeboat infront of me, I would rather book a cabin with windows so that I can get a better view of the ports as we pulling in the mornings.
