Kim&Chris Posted April 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2006 We were just assigned this catagory 6 room on the Magic. Just reaching out to see if any of you have ever been in this room. Both hubby and I are able bodied, but Disney insists on giving us handicapped rooms everytime we're in Disney World, and now the cruise lines. Not that it's such a terrible thing, but I know there will be families on board who would love the extra space. I spoke to DCL twice about this, and they always say, "sorry, we can't switch you". Anyway, if any of you have ever been in this cabin, can you tell me if there's a bathtub? Thanks :)
Andy99 Posted April 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2006 I have never stayed in that room but on most Cruise ships the handicapped rooms are usually a bit larger then the regular rooms. It might not be a bad thing.

They set up the litterboxes for service dogs on that verandah (we call it the BAV).....some have a 6' trajectory in that 4' box... enjoy.

etoile Posted May 1, 2006 #6 Share Posted May 1, 2006 On that verandah? Do you mean on the neutral space between 6154 and 6654? If you look at the last three pictures on this page you can see a bit of what your room might look like - the pictures are of 6654. They do seem to show a tub, but that's a bit puzzling because I would think they would have a roll-in shower. I dunno!
