FYI Just Got My Cingular Bill

Hi all,

I know the question has been asked often so thought I'd contribute. I had full-bar reception with my Cingular GSM Samsung phone everywhere in Nassau last month, and made a few calls to check in with family. Just got the bill, and regardless of what time I made the call or how long, I was charged $1.99 a minute (no extra roaming charges).

I have a $59.99 Cingular plan with no add ons for International Service so I think most members could expect the same thing.

Ain't cheap (kinda reminds me of the minute fees my parents paid for home long distance in the '60s), but I'm just happy for the network availability.

Only thought about it after getting home, but I wish I would have tried sending text messages. I have a unlimited plan for those, but it would be interesting to see if the transmission of them was charged.

Anyway, for any interested, hope this helps.

Clair
