Suthunman Posted April 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2006 We took a snorkeling trip with Belize Catamaran. It was arranged thru NCL and we were picked up directly off the ship and brought back to the ship. It was very professionally ran and the reef was awesome. They had "lifeguards" in kayaks to help if anyone had problems. They take pictures on this excursion, so take a little extra money with you, you will probably want the picture of you in the water as you are about to get back on the boat. The only money I took that morning was 4 or 5 buck for tips, since we weren't going anywhere but snorkeling and would come straight back to the ship. After everyone is accounted for they pass out the rum punch freely and take you to a beautiful little island for about an hour. You can buy drinks there and lounge on the beach, or simply walk over to the catamaran and get more rum punch when you want another drink. It was the best excursion of our cruise. Cozumel-Ian Posted May 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2006 Sounds like one of the snorkel tours offered by this Belize cruise tour operator...? i think they usually go to Bannister Island...
