cricketz Posted April 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2006 We just received cruise documents for Alaska sailing on Summit out of Seward. Departure is 9:00 p.m., and our boarding time is 6:00 p.m. Last year we took the same cruise and boarded directly off the train from Anchorage at 11:00 a.m. Do you think we'll still be able to get on the ship for lunch, or will we be required to spend the day in Seward? Last year I believe boarding was supposed to be after 2:00 p.m., not 6:00 p.m.; so I have my doubts that they'll let us on so early. We're rather disappointed as we were ready to hit the T-Pool (re: tip from Cruise Critic to always carry your bathing suit in your carry on). Any views on this?
