First Cruise

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I just booked an Alaskan cruise for May 2007 on the Radiance of the Seas and got an aft balcony #1604. I remember reading here of someone that has that same room for this summer. Can't wait to read all of the reviews from everyone's trip this year. We booked the cruisetour #14 with my brother and his wife. They'll be in room #1104. Any advise will be greatly appreciated!:) We're very interested in what shore excursions we should look into and the best way and time to book them.

You will love this cruise. We've done it twice. Go over to the ports of call board for Alaska. The folks there are most knowledgeable. I recommend making some of your own arrangements rather than using the ship's tours. It turned out great for us. I highly recommend Capt. Larry for whale watching and Coastal for a helicopter glacier tour in Juneau. The regulars on the ports of call board are fantastic.
