REGINA Posted April 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2006 It was docked in Baltimore. Anyone know why and the tonnage of the ship.
Don Haynes Posted April 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2006 I think she turned up in Baltimore to pick up some of her crew, who are trained in Maryland somewhere. She is on her way to California where she'll have her first booked cruise to Hawaii. NCL is starting up Pride of Hawaii differently than they did Pride of America, which didn't go very well last year. Hopefully NCL learned some lessons and will do much better this time with the Pride of Hawaii. The Pride of Hawaii is around 92-93,000 tons, a Panamax sized ship, similar to the Norwegian Jewel, Dawn, and Star. The similar Pearl is expected to enter service later this year and the similar Gem next year.

calmac Posted April 28, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2006 So what is her tonnage? electricron states 92,000 from Meyerwerft but annieI states 93,500 from CC. For once I think CC might not be correct?
