robinsoncruisers Posted April 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Can anybody tell me if I need to pack beach towels for Shore trips, sunbaking on beach etc? Thanks in advance.
Past it Posted April 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2006 I did last time and it was a pain to get them washed and dried. So will make do with the small stripey towels. Karmac suggested taking an old sheet to sit on. The sand doesn't stick and light to carry
karmac Posted April 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2006 No you don't. Just take the ships pool towels. They're not large but I'm a large person & there were 5 of us & I didn't pack a single towel. There was a cupbaord with pool towels in just down the corridor from our cabin. Whenever we wanted any we just helped ourselves. When you get back from the islands, as soon as you walk onto the ship there is a "bin" where you put your dirty pool towels. Even if you intend going straight to the pool ( as our kids often did) just go & get clean pool towels. You very rarely see anybody with their own towels.
