HollyfromSC Posted May 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Hi! There is a big group of us going on the Carnival Valor in November. Some of the people have asked me to ask some questions about excursions--to get feedback. 1) We are booking our excursion in Belize thru this website http://www.cave-tubing.com/ If anyone has ever gone on this excursion please let me know! I am nervous about not booking thru Carnival and not getting back in time for the ship! Thanks!! 2) We are thinking of booking our Grand Cayman tour thru http://www.captainmarvins.com/ If anyone has ever used Captain Marvin--please let me know about your experience! Thanks again!! 3) Is there anyway to find out the price of Carnival's excursions compared to others before going on the cruise? We would like to compare prices. 4) We have a golfer in the group. Any suggestions on where to golf with this cruise itinerary. We are going to Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Belize, and Roatan. Any suggestions if he should book on his own or thru Carnival? Thanks so much!! Appreciate any advice! Holly :D
big_duck Posted May 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Probably the best bet for golf is a Carnival excursion. http://www.carnivalgolf.com/ This is especially true if he is the only golfer as the Carnival pro will be able to hook him up into another group. Info on the available courses, as well as equipment rental and other stuff is avail at the website listed above. As for the other stuff, check the Ports of Call board, there is lots of info about these companies there.
