jeepgirl30 Posted June 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2004 When we were at the Casino we had been playing with low amounts and losing it! I played Roulette and some vp. DH was playing blackjack and roulette. No one paid us attention and we were okay with losing what we planned to donate! Then things changed. On the last day I cashed in on vp ahead. I put in $5 and cashed out around $60. Sat at roulette and played some and cashed out. I ended up with $250. We went to dinner and played $150 of that. Then DH said "go get the last $100 we planned to spend it so lets just do it". I agreed. We turned that around fast. We played Roulette together and had a blast. He was playing Red/Black and Even/Odd. I played numbers. I was playing with color chips while he was using $5 chips. When either of us would get a big hit we'd ask for it in $25 chips and i'd stick them in my pocket so we didn't play them. Pretty soon someone from the inside ring (the Pitt?) asked DH to see his Sail and Sign. We were confused. She said it was to rate him and not to worry. I know in Vegas you can get comps on food and rooms but what do they do on a cruise ship? We ended up with $500 at the end of the night. So we were only up about $150 for the whole trip. More than expected and we were thrilled but I can't imagine the casino would care about that. We don't gamble big at all. Maybe since he was playing with the $5 chips he looked bigger than he was? He was getting a lot of attention from other players and everyone kept asking if he had a "method". He said yes just watch and he kept getting lucky! I was getting lucky too but not getting near the same attention because I was using regular chips and playing numbers. Anyway I'm just wondering what they rated him for and if we may get some type of comps?

nuttymommy Posted June 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2004 We were on the 6/12 sailing of the Miracle and we hit the casino alot! the host approached me and on the last night gave me t-shirts hats, mugs and paperwork that told me to expect a letter in 6 weeks telling me how much cash back I get when I take my next cruise. I am also supposed to get a discount on the next cruise and introduce myself to the casino host to get more perks during that cruise. It is a point thing and I am not sure how many points you need..If you qualified for the "perks" you would receive a letter 6 weeks after your cruise.
