It's official: MERCURY going to Australia, New Zealand Dec. '07

I am interested in the repositioning cruise from Hawaii in Nov.

We like lots of sea days. A flight to Hawaii from the west coast is

cheap and flights back from Austrailia are reasonable.

 

We would like to spend Christmas in Australia.

We just received an e-mail from Celebrity saying that these itineraries will be available for booking on Wednesday, May 17th!!

I confirm that my invoice is $8270.88, for cabin,economy air R/T from Ft Myers to LA and from Sydney to Ft Myers, Govn. Taxes, Princess travel ins. , Air Fees, and ground transfers. on Regal Princess Aug 2007 LA to Sydney via Sth Pacific Islands and New Zealand , 31 day cruise.

 

I will have to add on my hotel in LA which is not yet available form the cruise line.

 

Cannot say what Celebrity will charge, my agent tried to "book" Mercury at 6A.M this morning in case I wished to change and was told that all bookings are now closed.!!!!!!

I read your post with the costs for your trip. It sounds too good to be true! What cruise line are you on? Days? Date? Itinerary?

 

We want to go to Australia and I'd appreciate any info that you can share with me. Also - I read about a 31 day cruise - can't find it now. Was it you?

This is what I get for trying to post while the rest of my family is finishing dinner, doing homework and/or watching TV! I'm sorry - when I re-read your post I saw that many of my questions were answered in the text. (Of all the things I've ever lost, I miss my mind the most!)

 

Anyway, please excuse my lack of attention and I'm hoping that you will write and tell me more about your cruise.
